Our chapter is located on the mainland in beautiful San Clemente, California.

We are a dynamic group of about 135 members in 2017.  Among us, you will find teachers, medical professionals, lawyers and women from all walks of life.

In joining, we have found many opportunities for new experiences and avenues to give back to our community.  Daughters of the American Revolution is an organization for women which offers a great variety of choice for involvement in areas of interest to the individual.   Our members are actively involved in the community library, schools, literacy programs, museums and aid to military families.

Our mission is to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism.  We may join for the respected ideals of DAR but along the way, we make friends and make a difference in our community.

The chapter's name was chosen because of proximity to San Clemente Island.  Most members are from the South Orange County cities of San Clemente, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, and Laguna Niguel. However, local residency is not a requirement.
